Model Horse Hobby

One of the things I try to do as often as I can is introduce the model horse hobby to people who might not be aware of it. People see my model collection and their eyes light up. It gives them such joy and I heard stories about Misty, Breyers long gone, long ago playthings that people gave up years ago. Why do we give up things that give us joy? We need to grow up, but not out, of our childhoods.  Model horses connect me to real horses, to my creative side and to my imagination.  I am so glad I never "grew out" of my love for model horses!
